Numbat has successfully completed its funding process,
raising €140 million to expand its sustainable mobility charging infrastructure with 400 new high-power charging stations.

Telescope Advisory Partners (“Telescope”) advised Numbat GmbH (“Numbat”) with Vendor Commercial Due Diligence services on its funding process to support the approach of potential investors.
The cleantech company Numbat was founded in February 2021 in Kempten (Allgäu) by the founders Martin Schall and Dr.-Ing. Maximilian Wegener. Numbat is a provider and operator of high-power charging solutions based in Kempten. The special feature of the high-power charging stations is the integrated battery storage, which allows the charging stations to be installed anywhere, even in places where the power grid does not have the corresponding capacity. In addition, the charging stations are equipped with two 75” screens to display advertising, allowing Numbat to generate additional revenue.
Together with a consortium of banks (led by DAL Deutsche Anlagen-Leasing), Patrizia SE is investing €140 million, with €70 million coming from Patrizia and €70 million from the bank consortium. The investment will ensure the installation of a total of 400 charging stations in the car parks of Tegut supermarkets. 200 charging points will be installed this year and the remaining next year.
