Acquisition Will Accelerate Impero's Ambition to Establish Product Portfolio for Education and Corporate Clients

Telescope’s Transaction Advisory Team advises Impero, a portfolio company of Investcorp, with Commercial Due Diligence services on its portfolio company’s second acquisition of ContentKeeper, a leader in web filtering, reporting and mobile security for schools. The acquisition will accelerate Impero’s ambition to establish a fully integrated, device-agnostic, cloud-based product portfolio for education and corporate clients, in addition to boosting Impero’s product offering, reach, and customer base in the United States. Thereby, Impero complements the purchase of Netop from Consolidated Holdings A/S from early 2021.

ContentKeeper has been delivering internet filtering and multi-layered cybersecurity since 2002, with the objective of assisting enterprises in managing, protecting, and seamlessly connecting them to a multitude of corporate and cloud-based online resources. With unrivaled security, flexibility, and control, ContentKeeper’s K12 Cloud can filter millions of students across all devices, web browsers, and platforms.

Impero is one of UK’s market-leading providers of online student safety, classroom, and school network management software. Investcorp Technology Partners, via Investcorp Technology Fund IV, invested in Impero in 2017 to support its growth by expanding internationally organically and through strategic add-on acquisitions while investing in further enhancing its software solutions.
