How did you come to Telescope?
I wanted to gain experience working for a smaller company in Consulting, after doing my own research I found Telescope.
Is there a special thing you remember during your own onboarding process?
I really appreciated the personal touch, how people took their time to answer my inquiries and that every detail was explained in the beginning.
What has been your greatest success at Telescope so far?
In a market study, I was responsible for the entire Spanish market because I was the only one in the team fluent in Spanish.
What are the three topics you have to deal with the most (professionally)?
Eexpectations and self-assessment of my abilities
How would you describe the TAP-colleagues/TAP-atmosphere in three words?
Encouraging and demanding
In One word: what makes TAP special for you?
The Spirit!
Christine
Tell us about your first impression at TAP.
What stands out immediately is the extremely young team, TAP must be appealing to young people!
What has been your greatest success at Telescope so far?
During my first weeks I worked on a project, which was signed in the end, so that I achieved my first tombstone. The associated Linkedin post with a picture and mention of me was my highlight!
Can you name topics you had to deal with the most?
Since the work at TAP is project-based, everything has to happen quickly within a mostly quite short deadline. I had to prove my stress-resistance and be very flexible as it is sometimes difficult to estimate how much time a certain task or project will take.
In one word: What makes TAP special for you?
The Dedication! You say long, back each other, get the projects done very well and walk the extra mile to do so.
Greta
How did you come to Telescope?
Via LinkedIn – I just read through the description and just texted the TAP-employees Kiki, Paul and Julian, I send them connection and just asked, then did first interview with Johanna, really liked her!
What was your first impression?
I thought what a young dynamic team – like everyone says – but here it’s true! And the teamspirit, it’s visible! Here you have friends. And of course, I really enjoyed the strategy days in my very first week!
What was the first thing you told your friends about the company?
I really liked the office and that everyone was very welcoming and nice. It felt good being here! On strategy days I had fun with my colleagues – I wouldn’t have expected that much fun!
What has been your greatest success at Telescope so far?
My very first project I had with Julian. Although I am an intern, he ask for my ideas and I was contributing to something. I really enjoyed working in a team with him and totally felt stimulated by these new topics!
What makes TAP special for you?
Environment of friends. If you stay many hours at the office, the team is really important.

How did you come to telescope?
I was looking for internship in Munich to start at PE, stumbled upon on LinkedIn, I decided to apply and here I am!
What was your first impression? Special thing you remember during your own onboarding process?
Since it was my first internship in PE world or consulting it was quite overwhelming, the team integrated me very fast, everyone was super nice and appreciative. I had some time to settle in and then was very quickly staffed on my first projected where I had some time to get familiar with the style & project set-up of Telescope.
When did you chose to stay at telescope?
I got the offer during the internship and when I finished, I had some thoughts about it and then decided to come back after a short break of two weeks.
What has been your greatest success at Telescope so far?
All the projects that have been closed, even if some of them are not published so far. And obviously the learning curve that one gets to experience. Have been able to grow a lot professionally but also personally.
What makes telescope more attractive to work at that some other company?
The client exposure, the team and – for me – it’s the ability for personal growth. You can learn a lot without much work experience!
What is a topic you can help newbies with when they start because of your passion for it?
Probably excel questions and I think just everything about starting at TAP because I know how it feels to be an intern and started not long ago working here.
Johanna
What was your first impression at Telescope?
Coming in, the friendly reception. It was a feeling like ‘this is the right place for me’, it was very positive. We had this welcome coffee with the most important people I appreciated very much. The start was super, then it started right away. Many cold-water experiences, but it got warmer and warmer.
You started at Telescope as an intern, then came back after a break and now you’re a Junior HR-ler! What can you say about TAP?
I like it very much here and cool team! It’s fun! It was the right decision. I came back now to TAP after 6 months in another company. The offer was already given after my internship.
I wanted to do this intermediate step to gain more experience. But at TAP as a smaller consulting firm, we have this fantastic team culture, nice people who know each other and “you are not just a number”.
What has been your greatest success at Telescope so far?
The interviews are definitely the most memorable thing about my job. Accompanying people from the first meeting to the “Nice to onboard you!” – getting to know the development of every single employee. Also the Team events are very nice, because you get together again and can feel the teamspirit.
How would you describe the TAP-atmosphere?
To quote a former intern: “Where quality meets quality-time” (Adrian 😉)
What is a topic you can help newbies with when they start because of your passion for it?
For every problem, whether personal or technical, I always have an open ear for the topics!
What makes TAP special for you? (one word)
Team-culture!
Jenna
How did you come to telescope?
I found my way here through workwise while searching for a mandatory internship for my university program. I stumbled upon Holistic Works and submitted my application. My first interaction was with Johanna, our Junior HR Manager, and our intern-to-intern conversation was a pleasant and comfortable experience.
What was your first impression at TAP?
My first visit to the TAP office left me with a sense of genuine friendliness and remarkable courtesy. Upon my return to complete the contract signing, Johanna welcomed me with a heartfelt and warm embrace. In that moment, I instantly knew I had become an integral part of the Telescope family.
What are topics you had to deal with the most during your internship?
During my internship, the primary areas I focused on were conducting interviews with fellow interns, managing their subsequent onboarding, and overseeing the comprehensive process. Regrettably, I also had to handle the offboarding procedures for the seven interns who concluded their summer break with us.
One significant project that stood out for me was the preparation of our strategy days in June. I collaborated closely with Valerie, our Head of HR, on this endeavor. It became particularly vital due to the challenges we faced in the preceding weeks and some recent company restructuring. This involved delving into new topics and extensive preparation to gather employee input for the strategy days.
You started at Telescope as an intern, then came back after a short break and now you’re a working student at HR department! What can you say about TAP?
It was akin to returning to a familiar haven. Monotony is a foreign concept in this environment; you’re continually presented with stimulating challenges, providing ample opportunities for personal growth and learning. When you possess a genuine thirst for knowledge, you’ll find all the support you need to pave the path toward your own success.
What has been your greatest success at Telescope so far?
Being granted the opportunity to return as a working student has been a truly rewarding experience!
What makes TAP special for you?
Spirit!
What was the craziest thing that happened during an interview?
During an interview, the craziest thing that happened to me was when a candidate started asking me peculiar and unrelated questions about my personal life anopinions. In such instances, I would focus on maintaining professionalism and tactfully guiding the conversation back to the relevant job-related matters.

How did you come to telescope?
I was also looking for a new challenge. That was funny because Susanne (former HR employee) called me and asked if I wanted to work at Telescope! It was right in the beginning of Telescope’s journey in 2021, and I thought this could be a very interesting challenge for me. I saw the potential because of Simons and Ludwigs experience. Most interesting points were that TAP was a new company in the market and I was looking forward to working at a young new company.
What was your first impression? Special thing you remember during your own onboarding process?
Yes! My first day was 1th November 2021. It started with my onboarding and on my very first day at afternoon I just worked on a project together with Simon, our Managing Partner. It was very interesting to work with Simon, who was also very operational working on the project – I didn’t expect that! Since Telescope has been a startup then, the onboarding process was a little unstructured, but as Simon is one of our knowledge leaders I could really enjoy to work with him on a operational basis from the very beginning!
What was the first thing you told your friends about the company?
One of the first points I mentioned was the fact that we were a really young team and it felt a little bit like you work with your friends you know from your studying. It was like ‘this could be a group of friends’. I felt very comfortable. And now it turned out to be like that!

How did you come to telescope?
Seeking a fresh career opportunity, I was contacted by Susanne, who leads the HR unit. I participated in a job interview and discovered a strong affinity for the social aspects of the role. Consequently, I chose to narrow my focus due to this excellent social fit.
What was your first impression? Special thing you remember during your own onboarding process?
I sensed a robust sense of camaraderie right from the start. What was particularly enjoyable was that I had the opportunity to meet all my future colleagues even before officially commencing the job, thanks to a photoshoot. And, as is customary, the photoshoot kicked off with a “Weißwurst-Frühstück”. This allowed me to get to know everyone outside of a work setting, making for a delightful first impression.
What was the first thing you told your friends about the company?
I was genuinely impressed by the team’s youthfulness. It’s remarkable to see such a young and passionate group of individuals who have cultivated a successful company with such a strong sense of purpose. That was the initial thought that crossed my mind.
What has been your greatest success at Telescope so far?
Despite being relatively young, I had the chance to take on a leadership role within the team and lead it to success. We’ve seen significant growth, going from approximately 5 or 6 team members when I started to our current size of over 20. This transformation into a well-recognized service provider is a remarkable achievement for the entire team.
What are the three topics you have to deal with the most (professionally)?
Certainly, there are three key aspects I’m passionate about in my role. First and foremost is the realm of IT and IT services, which I’ve become familiar with and have developed a strong affinity for. Second, it’s the sense of camaraderie and friendship I share with my colleagues, as we are part of a tightly-knit social community. And finally, the third aspect is our international client base, which I thoroughly enjoy engaging with to brainstorm new ideas and explore opportunities collaboratively.
How would you describe the TAP-colleagues/TAP-atmosphere in three words?
Fruitful, Engaged, ambitious
